Teen Numbers 11–20: Trace, Count & Sort

$3.00

The teens are the tricky ones. This pack builds them three ways: trace the shape, count “ten and some more,” then sort the smaller teens from the bigger ones.

What’s inside

  • 5 pages: a cover, a how-to page for grown-ups and 3 activity pages
  • Trace the Teens: a leveled writing row for each number 11–20 that fades from a bold model to dashed copies to an empty “your turn” space
  • Count the Teens: double ten frames show each teen as “ten and some more.” Count the full ten and the extras, then write the number
  • Sort the Teens: draw a line to sort each number into smaller (11–15) or bigger (16–20)

Skills it builds

  • Teen number recognition
  • Early place value
  • Counting on from ten
  • Number formation

How to use

Trace the teens in the air with a big arm before writing them small. Say them the place-value way, “one ten and four ones,” then “fourteen.” Point to the full ten frame and count on from ten instead of starting at one. Slide the trace page into a sheet protector for dry-erase repeats. Prep time: 1 minute.

You’ll need

A pencil and crayons. A sheet protector and a dry-erase marker are optional.
