Shape Hunt Count & Graph

$2.50

Find the shapes, count them and color the graph. Three friendly hunts that build visual scanning, counting and early math.

What’s inside

  • 5 pages: a cover, a how-to page for grown-ups and 3 hunts
  • Count & Color the Graph: color one box for every shape you find
  • Count & Circle the Number: count each shape and circle the right number
  • Find the Most: decide which shape has the most and color it

Skills it builds

  • Visual scanning
  • Counting
  • Early graphing
  • Crayon control

How to use

Hunt together first: point and name each shape. Have your child touch each shape as they count so none gets missed, and color one graph box for every shape found, left to right. New counters can just find and color. For more challenge, ask “which shape has the most?” If a child loses track, cross each shape with a fingertip as you count. Laminate it for dry-erase hunts. Prep time: 1 minute.

You’ll need

Crayons, or a dry-erase marker and a sheet protector.
