Pumpkin Pie Shaving Cream Writing Mat

$0.00

One pumpkin pie mat, endless ways to build hand strength and early writing.

What’s inside

  • 1 full-color pumpkin pie mat, landscape on US Letter

  • 8 whipped-cream dollops around the rim for counting, sorting and dough work

  • Open-ended by design — use it a different way every time

Skills it builds

  • Hand and finger strength

  • Letter, number and shape formation in a forgiving medium

  • Counting and one-to-one matching

  • Getting comfortable with messy textures

How to use

Laminate the mat or slide it into a dry-erase sleeve. Spread shaving cream, whipped cream or pudding across the pie and let them draw letters, numbers and shapes with a fingertip, then smooth it over and start again. Or roll playdough into the cream dollops, or use it as the base of a sensory tray. Print and go: ready in 2 minutes.

You’ll need

A laminator or dry-erase sleeve, plus whatever you already have — shaving cream, whipped cream, pudding, sand, salt or playdough.

Safety note

Choose taste-safe materials for children who still mouth things, and stay within arm’s reach during messy play.

From a pediatric OT

Made by Ms. Aviv, a licensed pediatric occupational therapist, and used with real kids before it reaches you. Print-ready PDF on US Letter (prints on A4 with “fit to page”).
