Numbers 0–10: Trace, Count & Sort

$3.00

Three number pages that go from tracing to counting to comparing: trace 0 to 10, count and write, then sort the numbers into smaller and bigger.

What’s inside

  • 5 pages: a cover, a how-to page for grown-ups and 3 activity pages
  • Trace the Numbers: a leveled writing row for each number 0–10 that fades from a bold model to dashed copies to an empty “your turn” space
  • Count & Write: a ten frame shows a group to count, then you write the matching number
  • Sort the Numbers: draw a line to sort each number into smaller (0–5) or bigger (6–10)

Skills it builds

  • Number formation
  • Counting with ten frames
  • Comparing numbers
  • Line and pencil control

How to use

Draw each number big in the air with a whole arm before writing it small, and say “around and down” as you form it. Touch and count each counter out loud, then find that number to write. Slide the trace page into a sheet protector for dry-erase repeats. A backwards 3 or 5 is normal at this age: model the correct start point instead of erasing. Prep time: 1 minute.

You’ll need

A pencil and crayons. A sheet protector and a dry-erase marker are optional.
