Number Formation 0–9

$3.50

Watch the number being built, trace it, then write your own. One worksheet for every number from 0 to 9, on two-line paper with start dots and arrows.

What’s inside

  • 11 pages: a cover and 10 worksheets, one for each number 0 to 9
  • Each worksheet follows the same three steps: Watch Me (see how the number is built, with a short stroke cue), Trace (solid numbers, then faded numbers) and Write (start at the dot and write your own)
  • Number words from zero to nine to read, trace and copy at the bottom of every page
  • Extra direction cues for the reversal-prone numbers

Skills it builds

  • Number formation
  • Start points and stroke direction
  • Handwriting
  • Number words

How to use

Say the cue at the top of the page out loud (“Numbers start at the top”), then trace the number in the air with a big arm before you start. Trace the solid numbers, trace the faded numbers, then write your own beginning at the dot. Do one page per sitting. Slide a page into a sheet protector to use it again with a dry-erase marker. Prep time: 1 minute.
