Lowercase Letter Formation a–z

$3.00

Twenty-six lowercase letters taught the way the hand learns them: watch it built, trace it, then write it alone.

What’s inside

  • 27 pages: a title page and one page for every lowercase letter a–z
  • On every page: a “Watch Me” step-by-step letter on two-line paper, a row of solid letters to trace, a row of faded letters to trace, and a start-at-the-dot row to write
  • A cartoon picture and a word to read, trace and copy for each letter (a is for apple, b is for ball…)
  • A habit tip on each page, like “Tall letters reach up high” or “Diving letters dip below the line”

Skills it builds

  • Letter formation
  • Letter sizing
  • Pencil control

How to use

Do one letter per sitting. Let your child watch how the letter is built, trace the solid row, trace the faded row, then write on the dotted line. Laminate a page for dry-erase repeats. Prep time: 2 minutes.

You’ll need

A pencil or crayons. Dry-erase marker and sheet protector optional.

From a pediatric OT

Made by Ms. Aviv, a licensed pediatric occupational therapist, and used with real kids before it reaches you. Print-ready PDF on US Letter (prints on A4 with “fit to page”).
