Feelings Dab & Color

$3.00

Spot, match, count, sort and color every feeling. Five dot-marker activities in two levels each, for little hands and big feelings.

What’s inside

  • 12 pages: a cover, a how-to page for grown-ups and 10 activity pages (5 activities, Level 1 and Level 2 each)
  • Find & Dab the Hidden Happy Faces: hunt the page for every happy face
  • Dab-a-Dot Color Code: match each feeling face to its color using the key
  • Count & Dab: count each feeling face in the scene, then dab one dot per friend
  • Match It: draw a line from each feeling word to its face
  • Cut & Sort: cut out each face and glue it under Comfortable Feelings or Big Feelings

Skills it builds

  • Emotional vocabulary and feelings recognition
  • Fine motor grasp and dot-marker control
  • Visual scanning and discrimination
  • Counting, sorting and cutting

How to use

Name the feeling together before you dab, then ask “when do you feel this way?” to connect the picture to a real memory. Start with Level 1 and move up when it feels easy. Dot markers are the favorite, but a cotton swab snapped in half, play dough balls, pom-poms or crayons work too. Laminate or slide the pages into sheet protectors to use them again. Prep time: 1 minute.

You’ll need

Dot markers, or crayons, pom-poms or play dough. Scissors and glue for the Cut & Sort pages.

From a pediatric OT

Made by Ms. Aviv, a licensed pediatric occupational therapist, and used with real kids before it reaches you. Print-ready PDF on US Letter (prints on A4 with “fit to page”).
