Dab the Numbers 0–9

$3.00

A find-and-dab number hunt, one page for every number from 0 to 9. Find every matching number, dab it, then count how many you found.

What’s inside

  • 13 pages: a cover, a Ways to Play page and 10 number-hunt pages, one for each number 0 to 9
  • On each hunt page the number in the corner box is the one to find. Search the rings of numbers, dab or color every match, then count and write how many you found
  • A “meet your numbers” strip so children can see all ten numbers at once

Skills it builds

  • Number recognition
  • Visual scanning
  • Hand and finger control
  • Counting

How to use

Pick a page. The number in the corner box is the one to hunt for. Find every match, dab or color it, then count how many you found and write it in the box. Dot markers are the favorite, but a cotton swab snapped in half (the short stub nudges a neat tripod grasp), pom-poms, playdough balls, crayons or stickers all work. Trace the number in the air together before you start. Prep time: 1 minute.

You’ll need

Dot markers, or a cotton swab, pom-poms, playdough, crayons or stickers.
