Counting Bugs Cut & Paste 1–10

$1.50

Snip, count and glue your way from 1 to 10. Five cut-and-paste counting activities with busy little bugs.

What’s inside

  • 7 pages: a cover, a how-to page for grown-ups and 5 activity pages
  • Count and Glue the Number, Match the Ten-Frame, Match the Dice Dots, Match the Number Word (one to five) and Finish the Number Caterpillar
  • Every cut strip stays joined by dashed lines, so a child snips the whole row apart in one go

Skills it builds

  • One-to-one counting
  • Number order
  • Recognizing numerals 1–10
  • Scissor skills

How to use

Print on plain paper. Touch and count each bug out loud before hunting for the matching number. Snip the whole strip apart onto a tray first, then match and glue. No scissors yet? Little hands can tear along the dashed lines. Laminate the number cards and use hook-and-loop dots so the pages reset for another day. Prep time: 3 minutes.

You’ll need

Scissors and glue. A laminator and hook-and-loop dots are optional.
